I’m Tracy Strong — an artist, animation generalist, and educator who’s been working in the animation since 2007. In my 18 years as a generalist, I've had the opportunity to gain experience in the whole pipeline.
That range makes me a strong team player and quick problem-solver, especially when productions hit a crunch. Maybe your lead animator’s going on vacation, or your supervisor needs backup during a tight deadline. Maybe you’re launching a short-term pilot or a pitch test, and your A-team is tied up on another show. That’s where I come in! I'm someone who can jump in fast, work seamlessly within your existing pipeline, and help keep your show moving. In addition to production, I’ve found a lot of joy in teaching and mentoring: training in-house teams and international crews, running Toon Boom webinars, and leading an 8-week bootcamp that helps new grads transition to studio-level work. That mix of production and education means I’m fluent in both the creative language of showrunners and directors and the technical problem-solving of production artists. I can bridge gaps, translate ideas into visuals, and guide teams through complex setups or pipeline challenges.
